A look back at 2014
Dear friends and family, the end of the year is near. Can you believe it? Suppose time does fly when you’re having fun! We haven’t had the blog for the full year, but it’s still been a very eventful six months!
We started the blog in July, where we introduced The Nest and gave a little background information on the 9-storey mid-rise condo community coming soon to Hillcrest Village. Since then, we’ve shared plenty of posts on the community, from events to profiling various local businesses like Pukka, various local pizzerias, Roast, Zaza Espresso Bar, and Vintage Home Boutique (just to name a few). We’ve also chatted with local ambassadors like Matt Slutsky, Josie Stern and Ben Latchford to get a feel for what they would do on their perfect day in Hillcrest Village. We learned that most of them are quite familiar with the area, and gave us some pointers about places we definitely have to check out!
Besides talking about events and local shops/restaurants, we’ve also shared information about the various community initiatives and hubs like Artscape Wychwood Barns and The Stop’s weekly Farmers’ Markets.
Of course, because it is our blog we do talk about our project often. The blog acts as a platform where we can share all our construction updates, floor plans, pictures of our amenities, purchaser incentives and any other news that we think you need to know about. This year, we held our big ground breaking event and it’s all covered on the blog. We also have a few incentives including giving away a gas BBQ (because our units come with a gas line that extends to the balcony/terrace) and a year of riding the TTC for free.
We’ll continue to share all things related to Hillcrest Village and our project in 2015 – so don’t miss out!
We wish you all a very happy holiday season and an even better new year!
